Juvenile Law
Mike has represented countless clients in juvenile court. Juvenile court handles matters
related to cases where the State (DCFS) intervenes in the raising and parenting styles of
a parent. These cases are very emotional and timely because if a parent fails to comply
with valid court orders they can loose their children to the State.
The other types of cases are juvenile delinquency cases. These are cases where a child
has been charged with committing a criminal offense. While not as emotional as DCFS
cases, they can play a significant factor in a person's life.
Many attorneys say they have juvenile court experience. However, juvenile court is
extremely different from adult court, and it is not a good idea to use an attorney such as
Mike who has a considerable amount of experience in juvenile court.
